Oh it's been a while, hasn't it? This blog has been weighing heavy on my mind for a while now. A task left unfinished for too long, it's taken on more weight than it probably deserves. The problem hasn't been a lack of words, more an abundance. There are so many things I want to touch on and address here and I've been paralysing myself with too many ideas and not enough discipline. Spiralling out in all the directions at once. I've always been a maximalist.
It's been a season of change since my last post. Life is moving and shifting, as it's wont to do, and Two Hands is moving and shifting along with it. The constrictions of fitting the business within the ethical parameters at the core of Two Hands have become unfeasible and so we're pulling back from market sales and wholesale. I'm still totally open to commissions and collaborations, should you be desperate for a dessert spread for their Tuesday dinner table or an impeccably made custard tart to fling at someone deserving.
Instead of weekly markets, Two Hands is evolving towards more writing and photography. That means more recipes, more articles and more general chatter here on the blog, which I'm really excited about bringing to you. The upside is that now that I've broken out of my directionless spiralling I have a good collection of mostly-finished pieces to post, so let the regularity start from here (she says optimistically)!
